I almost always wear a triquetra of some sort. There is a sacredness in the three. Filled with simplicity, yet of highest complexity it is. It is singularity, yet community. It fans the trendrils of time. It locks and unlocks.

Summertime is filled with color and life. Wildflowers transport me into realms of the spirit world. I breathe deeply the scents, sounds, and sights of life. It is ambrosia to a thirsty soul. What is your ambrosia?
In the brilliant gold light of a late summer, a gold Bumblebee lands on Goldenrod flowers. All that gold made me think of a couple of famous lines from literature. Tolkien wrote the line, "All that is gold does not glitter," and Shakespeare penned, "All that glitters is not gold." Both lines are worth thinking about. So what do you think about them?
I suffer from grey days.
I know there is always another day. I know the light casts the darkness aside. I know! But I don't always feel it. Rainbows are more than just refracted water droplets in the air. Have you ever noticed that experiencing a rainbow actually makes you feel better? This beautiful symbol of peace creates peace in the soul. May you be a rainbow to others.
A dear friend who lives in Thailand recently shared with me this image of a sunset over a local beach near where she lives. Sharing is what friends do. We may live half a world away from each other, but a friend shares moments of beauty, happiness, sadness, grief, and so much more. A friend is the Divine's way of saying, "life is meant to be shared."
I love words! Be they spoken, read, thought, or illustrated. They tickle my thoughts and caress my soul. They can be filled with power, laced with poetry, and can transport me to unforeseen places. Somedays, when I spend my time wallowing in words, I feel guilty for having such pleasure - but then I decide to ignore that feeling!
